Back on the Trail! Camping Adventures Return This Spring After a Delay
We are back and getting ready for our spring travels!
Hello and welcome back, we are sorry we have been being quiet over the last couple of months, we have had some very sad family news to deal with, and although we are still healing, we are trying to get back to normal as much as possible now.
We hope you are all doing great now the nights and mornings are lighter, it is so refreshing and makes us feel so much better.
As the weather seems to have turned and we are now in March, the snowdrops and daffodils have started to pop up and say hello and it is time for getting ready for the camping season.
At the time of writing this blog, we are having some barmy temperatures here in Leicestershire – 18 degrees and a full- on blue sky! After months of storms and dreary weather this is very welcome! Sometimes the grey skies and horrible weather can make us feel quite low, and winter can seem very long!
So, over the next few weeks we will be blogging and vlogging on our channel about what we have been doing and also how we are preparing our van for travelling again. We cannot wait to get back out there in nature!
I can tell you that we have changed the cupboard (again!) in our van. We will explain more about the reasons for that in our next video.
We are continuing to design new products for our store and looking forward to collaborating with others to bring you some interesting content, as we learn, we want you to learn too!
We also need to prepare our campervan for the new season and getting back on the road, although we use it as a regular vehicle, there are still many checks we will need to do to make sure we don’t have any issues when staying away.
We also want to mention our new dog Jenson, I know that last time we did a blog and video, he was fairly new, but he is now settling in very well. He has only had the one camping trip so far, but he loves our family and is so gentle. We are looking forward to travelling with him. He is a very big dog but so very friendly, in fact we think he might be too friendly, and he thinks everyone wants to play or fuss him!
For those who followed us with our last dog, Bruno, he will never be replaced but Jenson has helped to fill a large dog shaped hole for us. Since Tony and I have been together we have always had a dog. We have found so many campers have dogs, and so many campsites are dog friendly which is great!
Thank you for reading, catch you again very soon, with more news!
