How We Keep Warm In Our Campervan

When we bought our VW campervan we tried to get all of the features we wanted already installed, but on a limited budget this was not possible. So one of the first things we did was get a diesel heater. We wanted to be able to use the van the whole year round, and also wanted to be able to survive without electric hook up.  We researched lots of different ways of heating the van but the Eberspacher Airtronic D2 was not only recommended on websites, but also recommended by our local fitter in Leicester.

The company is called SnailVans Ltd and we really recommend the service, they were very helpful. They also sorted out all of our electrical faults and fitted our electric hook up point.

This heater has made a massive difference to us and enables us to go camping in all weathers and also for day trips when it is freezing cold. Check out our tips and short video below about camping in the cold weather and the use of our diesel heater.
